Saxony intends to expand the economic relationship with China.

China has become the most important export market for the Saxon economy: In 2014 Saxon enterprises have exported goods for about 6.4 billion Euro to China (+36% compared to 2013), depicting about 18% of Saxony’s total exports.[1] Therefore, China has come into focus and the Saxon government plans to deepen their relationship.

To put this plan into practice, entrepreneurs of different industries have recently met the Chinese ambassador, Mr. Ming-De Shi. Saxony’s ministry President Stanislaw Tillich (CDU) told the media that the province partnership with Hubei and several city partnerships play an important role in the relationship to China and that Saxony support China in enhancing education sector.

The meeting between the ambassador and the enterprises has been arranged by the economic association „Vereinigung der Sächsischen Wirtschaft (VSW)”.
